Kindle issue fixed, A great read

The technical glitch that led to some 1-star reviews has apparently been fixed. This book downloaded to my Kindle without a problem. I found Conall's Legacy to be a well-written and touching contemporary Western romance, bringing to life the stark beauty of the Southern Arizona desert. After the tragic death of his friend Conall, Drake Forrester withdraws to the isolation of an old ranch in the desert, only to find the owner is an equally troubled woman. They discover a connection that neither of them expected, in a complex story of courage, forgiveness, and love. Recommended.

Absolutely Amazing.......

What a great read. I loved this book! It is a very touching story of two people who both have their own demons to fight. Luisa has been reclusive since her father passed away and stays on her ranch tending to her horses and other animals. Her best friend comes and brings her groceries and supplies as she needs them. Luisa feels she needs no one and has no need for outside contact. Drake has a deep rooted sense of guilt over his best friends death and his promise to look after the family left behind. He has continuous nightmares and is struggling to come to terms with his past. Drake is forced by his supervisor to take a leave of absence from work til he can come to terms with his problems. Drake's supervisor make reservations for him at the same ranch where Luisa lives. The two eventually help each other with their struggles.
It's a great story and I highly recommend it to everyone. It is a very good read and one that I will definitely revisit in the future. I am looking forward to more from Kat Wells........

Very good story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, once I figured out I could only read it on the Cloud Reader. (FREE from Amazon, just click on it and there it is.) It is an enjoyable contemporary romance read.
Like many others, I was very surprised that I couldn't open this book on my Kindle. Unlike them however, I went to the forums to ask if anyone could help me figure it out. One of the posters there was kind enough to point out to me that it was only available for iPad and Cloud, and told me how to go about getting it opened. As was pointed out to me, it does say quite plainly that it is only available on certain devices.
All that aside, this was a book I enjoyed, and worth the price I paid for it. Oh, wait. It was free.
