Excellent instructions

This is the very best, clearest and most complete book on surgical knots and related information I've ever found. Clear, large line drawings make it simple to tie the knots with some practice. The real key to being useful is, of course, knowing well what you can and can't do. No book can teach you how to do brain surgery.
I would suggest, however, that someone who does not have a solid background in medicine needs to have a copy of a good anatomy book as well as this one. It is important to understand tissue layers and their relationship to make best use of this book.

Bought this to go with the suture practice pad I ordered. Has pictures to follow and looks informative. I am not planning on doing some of the more complex sutures that are listed in this book, but it is good to have.

Not for PAs

Not for PAs. This is the basic stuff we already know. Probably good for hikers etc but dont buy if you are in PA school as you should already know most of what is in here :) Big bummer no color, no photos, no step by step and no videos.
